  • The African Dwarf Crocodile is the world’s smallest crocodile. It only grows to a length of 1.8m.

  • When baby Crocodiles are old enough to leave their eggs, they use their “egg tooth” to break the shell and free themselves
  • Pregnant African Dwarf Crocodiles build nests out of fresh and rotting plant material to lay their eggs in. As the plants decay they give off heat, which keep her eggs warm.

  • African Dwarf Crocodiles can climb trees.
